Introducing the TREMEC T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission, the long awaited and highly anticipated replacement for the original T-56.  Based heavily on the TR-6060, the all-new Magnum takes the best of TREMEC's current OEM design and manufacturing technologies and combines them with the most popular features of their intensely popular TKO 5-speed.  The result is the smoothest shifting, greatest driving, strongest and most versatile 6-speed aftermarket transmission TREMEC has ever produced. 

KEY FEATURES OF THE
ALL-NEW T-56 MAGNUM:

  • 85mm center distance.
  • 700 lb-ft effective torque capacity. The 700ft-lb rated internals are derived from the OE ZR-1 and ACR Viper 6-speeds and improved for use in the aftermarket.
  • Fully reversible 'TKO-style' OEM-grade die-cast aluminum shifter for smooth, positive shift action.
  • Dual 'speedo' pick ups to accommodate both electric and mechanical type speedometers.
  • Built-in mid-shift provisions under inspection cover for simple, pain free mid-shift conversions.
  • Triple cone synchronizers on gears 1-4, double cone synchronizers on gears 5-6, as well as reverse.
  • Accurate, smooth, high-rpm shift capabilities.
  • Short throw shifting.
  • Flip shift adjustable shift positions.

  X X Driveshaft The driveshaft in this kit is custom built by Precision Shaft Technologies, famous for building driveshafts for hard core racing and high powered street applications. This PST driveshaft features seamless drawn over mandrel (DOM) tubing which is stronger, straighter and more round than the cold rolled tubing used by some of our competitors. Each driveshaft features a cryogenically treated slip yoke and cryogenically treated solid u-joints, and is balanced to the highest standard as an assembly. All PST driveshafts are widely accepted in the world’s most extreme drag strip, circle track and road racing series. We also offer Chromoly, aluminum and carbon fiber driveshafts at your request.
